Philanthropy is not a slogan — it is what we have truly done

In August 2023, when Maui, Hawaii was devastated by an unprecedented wildfire that displaced thousands of residents and crippled community infrastructure, Casder Institute immediately activated its internal emergency response mechanism. Within days, we organized donations and on-the-ground support initiatives, including:

✦ Donating USD $250,000 through the Hawaii Community Foundation, specifically allocated for temporary housing, infrastructure restoration, and children’s psychological support programs.

✦ Partnering with non profits and logistics providers to deliver over 12 tons of emergency supplies, covering essentials such as food, medical items, maternal and infant care, and educational materials.

✦ Deploying an employee volunteer team to the disaster zone to help build shelters, assist with debris removal, and provide emotional support for affected communities.

These actions were not ad hoc decisions, but part of Casder’s long-established social responsibility framework. Our goal is not brand philanthropy, but authentic action in response to real social needs.
